Professor Eastwood currently teaches beginning creative writing classes on Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the La Verne Community Center. These classes are for ages 16 and older, and a fee of $10 for a 4-week session is charged.
Lectures are given in characterization, story elements, literary techniques, grammar, punctuation, dialogue, show versus tell, etc.
Students are encouraged to write their own short stories, novels, poems, journals, and biographies.
